NORMA LIVERSIDGE

Started dance at the age of four and has continued to enjoy dance and exercise ever since.  A back injury in 2003 led her to believe she would have to curtail her active lifestyle, however, her physical therapist had a different opinion. He was a great believer in the benefits of Pilates and this was the basis of her rehabilitation.

In 2006 Norma was fit, pain-free, and ran her first half marathon. Norma wanted to share the benefits and her love of Pilates with others so decided to train to be an instructor. Norma ran her own Pilates studio for many years in California before returning to the UK in 2018.

For Norma working as a Pilates instructor combines the opportunity to meet and interact with people while helping and empowering them to enjoy a stronger healthier body and she finds it a very rewarding job.
